Adopt Together is Faith in Families adoption service. Faith in Families is an independent children’s charity based in West Bridgford, Nottingham, providing a range of comprehensive children’s services. The Agency has enjoyed consistent ‘Outstanding’ ratings from Ofsted for its high quality services and our social work team ensure that the best interests of vulnerable children are met.

This is an exciting opportunity in this unprecedented time of change in the adoption sector. Faith in Families is one of three VAAs who are part of the government’s regionalisation agenda for the East Midlands. The agency is known for its high quality work in preparing and assessing prospective adoptive parents for the harder to place children, we also provide lifelong support through our comprehensive adoption support service. We want to recruit exceptional candidates with relevant experience, energy and enthusiasm for our work. Adoption Senior Practitioner

Part time – 3 days per week

Salary Pt. 37- 40 £32,164 – £35,093 (pro rata)

 

You will be responsible for undertaking tasks related to the preparation and assessment of prospective adoptive parents which will include the completion of prospective adopter reports, as well as post-placement support to children and families and completion of court and agency reports. You will also provide support to the team in managing complex cases, as well as providing second opinion reports, stage one reviews and assisting the Adoption Manager in managing enquiries.  For a suitably experienced candidate the role may involve the line management of one or two social work staff.

Community Fundraising Volunteer

Flexible working

Would you like to help Faith in Families transform the lives of vulnerable children in the East Midlands? We need enthusiastic and caring people to help us fundraise across the region. You can choose how to fundraise, so you can suit the role to your skills and availability, and you’ll have a designated contact at Faith in Families to speak to.

Perhaps you could put collection boxes around your local area, take charity buckets to local events or plan your own fundraising event. Whatever you do, it will make a huge difference to our work. We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic and committed volunteers to help us raise more money to support vulnerable children in the East Midlands. Whether you have fundraising experience or not, if you want to help us and think you could raise some money for us, we’d love to hear from you.
