Faith in Families is an independent children’s charity based in West Bridgford, Nottingham, providing a range of comprehensive children’s services. The Agency has enjoyed consistent ‘Outstanding’ ratings from Ofsted for its high quality services and our social work team ensure that the best interests of vulnerable children are met.

Faith in Families is one of three VAAs who are part of the government’s regionalisation agenda for the East Midlands. The agency is known for its high quality work in preparing and assessing prospective adoptive parents for the harder to place children, we also provide lifelong support through our comprehensive adoption support service. Volunteer Administrative Assistant
Part time – 1 day per week (Fridays)
We need a friendly and welcoming volunteer to be the first face of Faith in Families. If you love meeting people and have a professional telephone manner, you’ll be perfect to work with us. If you are free on a Friday and would like a new challenge, why not come in to Faith in Families and help us make a huge difference to the lives of vulnerable children across the East Midlands.
We’re looking for someone who is free on a Friday every week, and would like to volunteer in our friendly and vibrant office. You’ll be skilled in answering telephone calls and making visitors feel welcome, as well as helping with administrative tasks that will help the team support the vulnerable children we work with.

Community Fundraising Volunteer
Would you like to help Faith in Families transform the lives of vulnerable children in the East Midlands? We need enthusiastic and caring people to help us fundraise across the region. You can choose how to fundraise, so you can suit the role to your skills and availability, and you’ll have a designated contact at Faith in Families to speak to.
Perhaps you could put collection boxes around your local area, take charity buckets to local events or plan your own fundraising event. Whatever you do, it will make a huge difference to our work. We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic and committed volunteers to help us raise more money to support vulnerable children in the East Midlands. Whether you have fundraising experience or not, if you want to help us and think you could raise some money for us, we’d love to hear from you.
