We believe that every child has the right to grow up as part of a loving and nurturing family and we provide innovative, high quality services for children and families.
We offer an Outstanding service to all; as recognised in our 2011 Ofsted inspection.

Join us at First Thursdays
Join us at First Thursdays - every First Thursday of the month we will be opening our doors to anyone who would like to find out more about adoption, where you will have the opportunity to speak informally with members of our dedicated adoption team.
Our next event will be at our Nottingham Office, 7 Colwick Road, West Bridgford, NG2 5FR on Thursday 2nd February from 5.30pm - 7.30pm and then every First Thursday of the month. There will be a short presentation at 6.30pm. We look forward to welcoming you to First Thursdays.
Outstanding Award for Faith in Families
We are thrilled to announce that FIF has received a rating of OUTSTANDING in its recent OFSTED inspection. Outstanding is the highest possible rating that OFSTED can award and we received it for our work in adoption.
Our Chief Executive, Sumerjit Ram, said, “This is a fantastic accolade for Faith in Families; it is wonderful to have the hard work and dedication of our staff team, volunteers and supporters recognised by Ofsted. We will continue to build on this success by offering an outstanding service to adoptive families and finding lasting homes for the children currently looked after in local authority care.”
The charity’s inspection by OFSTED took place in July 2011 and the rating reflects the quality of work across the whole of the adoption service. This is the charity’s second rating of outstanding, having also been awarded an outstanding report for the last inspection in 2008.
Adoption Services
Faith in Families provides nurturing, innovative, high quality services for children and families. Based in Nottingham, we offer a wide range of adoption services, including adoption support services, volunteering opportunities and also training and consultancy programmes. We believe in innovation and nurturing, so that all children we come into contact with will develop into secure, confident, caring individuals who are equipped with the tools to do whatever they want to achieve in life.
