Adopt Together, Faith in Families Adoption Service, is Outstanding

Faith in Families is thrilled to announce that Adopt Together, Faith in Families Adoption Service, has once again received the rating of Outstanding. Outstanding is the highest possible rating that OFSTED can award and was given to Adopt Together in recognition of the continued excellent quality of the adoption service.

Faith in Families Chief Executive, Sumerjit Ram, said, “This is a fantastic accolade for both Adopt Together and Faith in Families; it is wonderful to have the hard work and dedication of our staff team, volunteers and supporters recognised by Ofsted. Since our last inspection our service has continued to grow and expand and we have recruited and supported more families than ever before. We will continue to build on this success by offering an outstanding service to adoptive families and find lasting homes for the children currently looked after in local authority care.”

The Triangle Project

Faith in Families is delighted to be working with St Francis’ Children’s Society and Adoption Focus on The Triangle Project. Many children who become looked after can experience disruption and uncertainty, being moved between carers whilst waiting for decisions to be made about their future.

By working together the three charities are using creative practice to secure permanency, including Fostering with a view to Adoption and Concurrent Planning.

We are delighted that BAAF are not only supporting this initiative but are also providing the Triangle Project with its Project Lead, Bridget Betts. Bridget is a highly experienced and regarded adoption professional who has been involved in a variety of specialised and innovative projects concerning adoption. For further information on The Triangle Project please visit our page on BAAF's website or contact  Bridget at bridget.betts@baaf.org.uk
